This is a circuit diagram module from the earphone socket on the TV board. Why should the four and five pins in the picture be short-circuited to ground?

Will it be current detection? When grounding is detected, the IC stops outputting.

But it’s better to read the specification

I have read it. The specifications I found only have descriptions of the pin technology, but no functional descriptions.

It should be to prevent noise. When the earphone is plugged in, pins 4 and 5 automatically bounce off. After being pulled out, it should be grounded, which should be better than floating.
